Commission A Wants e-ID Recording to Be Finished This Year

City Council wants e-ID recording in Jakarta to be finished this year. Currently, there are still 98 thousand people who have not been recorded yet.

"All residents must have done e-ID recording by the end of this year," said Muhammad Taufik, Coordinator of City Council Commission A in meeting to discuss revised City Budget 2017, Tuesday (9/26).
Commission A Discusses APBD-P Raperda in Governmental SectorAt the same place, Commission A Member, Ramly HI. Muhammad said, Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Dept. should be proactive to encourage people recording data.
"This recording must be done as soon as possible because it related to population administration," he said.
Jakarta Dukcapil Dept. Head, Edison Sianturi is optimistic to finish e-ID recording this year. There is around two percent or 98 thousand people who have not conducted e-ID recording.
"From total 7.2 million people, there is still two percent remaining that have not record the data," he expressed.
He added his side has been proactive to visit people in order to complete e-ID recording. For example by serving sick people who can not go to urban village office.
"For people who cannot go to the counter, please inform to urban village office thus we can visit to their house," he closed.
